At their final stages most diseases of musculoskeletal system inevitably result in severe disablement, accompanied by acute pain, suffering and despair. It has been so for years but today the situation has dramatically changed.

Modern orthopaedics is armed with a set of effective treatment methods which are apt to defeat the pain and bring back the simple happiness and joy of everyday activities. These methods are at the disposal of Chernivtsi Traumatology and Orthopaedics Center.

Chernivtsi Traumatology and Orthopaedics Center was founded in 1998 on the initiative of orthopaedic surgeons from Angelholm (Sweden) and specialists of Bukovyna Medical Academy (Chernivtsi, Ukraine) The main aim of the center consisted in implementing advanced orthopaedic methods and techniques in the medical practice in Bukovina. Our pride is a team of highly professional medical staff headed by prof. Ivan Rublenyk, a traumatogical surgeon who is widely known in both Ukraine and abroad. In early 1980-s professor Rublenyk designed and successfully implemented a unique methodology of treating complex fractures of long bones with the help INTERLOCKING METALLIC-POLYMERIC NAILING. A wide usage of this methodology at our centre shows remarkable results in the treatment of fractured lower and upper extrimities.

We have been the first in Ukraine to develop and implement a unique procedure of providing a 5-YEAR WARRANTY on every arthroplasty operation performed. By signing the official warranty document with every patient we take obligations to provide the best possible treatment results. Should any mulfunctions of the implanted artificial joint occur within the warranty period the center will be obliged to perform a revision arthroplasty operation providing the patient with a new joint constructiion of the reqired model and siye FREE OF CHARGE.
The warrantz also applies to all operations of revisional arthroplasty.

Always available at our center is an orthomodelling shop. Orthopaedic insoles whuich are manufactured on the basis of an individual patient's foot imprint, is an effective method of foot correction for people suffering from such abnormities as the flat foot, hallux valgus, all kinds of foot deformities, arthrosis, osteochondrosis, diabetis, fatigue and pain in the legs and obesity.

Using orthopaedic insoles is also recommended to healthy people as a means of preventive health care especially for people whose everyday activities are connected with continuous standing on hard floors (concrete, tiled floors, etc).
